❓ How do I create a driver?
Go to Local Delivery → Drivers and click "Add Driver". Enter the customer ID of an existing customer account. The customer will then have access to the "My Deliveries" section in their account.
❓ Can a driver use their own phone?
Yes! Drivers simply log in to their customer account on their phone, navigate to My Account → My Deliveries, and manage their deliveries. No app installation required.
❓ How does location validation work?
When a driver clicks "Complete Delivery", their GPS location is captured and compared to the delivery address. If they are within the configured radius (default 100m), the delivery is validated. This prevents fraudulent deliveries.
❓ How are drivers paid?
Admins can export driver payments via CSV from Local Delivery → Payments. Payment can be calculated as fixed per delivery or per distance (km). Select a date range, click "Create Payment", then export.
❓ What happens if a delivery fails?
Drivers can report a failure with a reason. The admin receives a notification and can reassign the delivery to another driver. The failed delivery status is logged for reference.
