Yes, you need a Google Merchant Center account with a valid Merchant ID. Add your Merchant ID in the module settings to enable the Product Review Feed.
❓ Do products need GTIN/EAN13?
Yes! Google matches reviews to products using GTIN (EAN13, UPC, ISBN). Products without GTIN will not appear in the feed. The module automatically detects GTIN from your product's EAN13, UPC, or ISBN fields.
❓ How are review emails sent?
When an order status changes to "Delivered", the module automatically sends a review request email. You can also send reminder emails after a configurable number of days.
❓ Can customers opt out of review collection?
Yes! The opt-in/opt-out system allows customers to choose whether they want to receive review request emails. They can opt out at any time from the order confirmation page or email.
❓ How long until reviews appear on Google?
After a review is approved, it appears in the XML feed. Google fetches the feed based on your schedule (daily or weekly). It may take 24-72 hours for reviews to appear on Google Shopping after Google fetches the feed.
